MIXTAPE! - Soopah Eype Mixteype Vol. 4: What up Sweatpants? - Soopah Eype
Eugene's own, Soopah Eype, has dropped the fourth mixtape, titled What up Sweatpants?, in his Soopah Eype Mixteype series. Over an eclectic bed of beats, Soopah Eype spits tongue in cheek rhymes on a wide variety of topics, from politics and pop culture, to the daily grind of college life. Intricate rhyme schemes compliment the beats which are very clearly influenced by the late great Dilla and Madlib's own unique sound. This is a tape you do not want to sleep on.
Make sure to check out more of Soopah Eype over at his website: http://soopaheype.posterous.com/
You can grab his other mixtapes, listen to some interviews, and watch Soopah on a homegrown version of cribs.
Also, you can here some exclusive beats by Doogies the Lion, the producer for much of What up Sweatpants?, over at his site: http://doogiesthelion.posterous.com/
